Accessing you Centrelink Online Account is Changing

myGov will be the only way to access your Centrelink online account in the near future. You will need to create a mygov account and link your Centrelink online account. Visit myGov  and follow the prompts. For help creating a myGov account, linking Centrelink or recovering your username or password, visit myGov and select Need help? Or, call the myGov help desk on 13273 307 and select option 1.

Guide Dogs Qld has partnered with the Queensland Government to trial a new generation audible information system on the bus network. The Step-Hear ® system provides blind and vision impaired people with audible messages outlining bus station facilities, bus stop locations and details of which stop bus routes leave from. New Rules for DSP/DSP Blind Recipients Going Overseas from 1 January 2015

If you are on Disability Support Pension / Disability Support Pension Blind and plan to travel overseas, the period you can receive your pension for will reduce from 6 weeks to 4 weeks in a 12 month period.

From 1 January 2015, if you are outside Australia for more that 4 weeks in a 12 month period your payment may stop.
